The Very Few Opinion Questions
o2o. gay marriage: I know you are all expecting "OMG, YESS TOTALLY!" Well, actually, I am for gay marriage and equal rights. I do think that homosexuals are being discriminated against because of religion, and I do feel it is extremely unjust. However, I think that gays are getting way too worked up about it. If you are really in love, and you really want to be with that person, not being allowed to get married shouldn't stop you. You can still live with them, be with them, and everything just like a marriage. Sure, so maybe you don't get some of the benefits of marriage like with money, but if "Marriage is about love," which seems to be everyone's arguement, then money and government recognization shouldn't matter.
o21. animal rights: I love animals. I am completely against the unfair treatment of them, and the way their homes are destroyed for the benefit of humanity. How would we like it if aliens started building civilizations and taking over your home? And don't say it's not the same. I'm not going to become vegetarian or vegan like some people are. I was vegan for a few months and couldn't handle it. Now, I have decided that maybe that was taking it too far. (no offense to anyone) I just believe that, while killing animals may be wrong to some extent, that it is right in some ways. For example, meat is essential to your diet, there are many vitamins and minerals in it, that you will otherwise have to take pills for. Also, the earth seems to be getting smaller and smaller, and space is running out, so rather than the world overpopulating, some animals may be killed for food or clothing.
o22. promote us somewhere, or a few somewheres. for every place you promote, we'll double one of your yes votes. communities made just for promos don't count.
